2026 Christmas lighting announcement

The organiser announces park lighting for 6 November 2026–3 January 2027, 17:30–22:00 daily, with light shows starting at 18:00 and differing intervals by installation. This is an announcement checked on 2026-10-30; recheck for changes before travelling.

A market is not a daily service

The same official page lists the Zhonghua Street market on 7–8 November 2026, 16:00–22:00, on Zhonghua Road between Minsheng and Linsen roads. It is not a daily market inside the park. Workshops and other programmes have their own dates and registration conditions.

Match the notice to your destination

Check the year, venue and cancellation or traffic notices. The Pingtung Lantern Festival, Christmas programme and other city events are not interchangeable. Dates for lighting around Cifeng Temple should not be applied to the park.

Questions before you go

Are the announced lights already running?

At the 2026-10-30 review, the announced park start date is 6 November; an upcoming programme is not evidence that it has begun.

Can dates change?

Weather, maintenance or organiser decisions can change a programme. Follow the latest organiser page and on-site notices.
